AkzoNobel India introduces powder coatings with BioCote’s anti-microbial technology

AkzoNobel India has accelerated the addition of BioCote’s anti-microbial properties to its range of architectural powder coatings Interpon D1000 and 2000. The market-leading anti-microbial solutions provider, BioCote’s anti-microbial technology reduces up to 99.99 per cent of bacteria and mould which can cause bad odour, staining or material degradation, thereby protecting the building interiors and keeping them fresh and clean.

The Interpon D AM is the first product of its kind in the company’s architectural segment and an effective solution for architects. It can be used on a variety of internal surfaces, such as window frames, ceiling tiles, metal office partitions, metal doors and elevator doors. The powder coating is available in the same extensive selection of colours and finishes as the existing Interpon D range, including metallic effects and coarse or fine textures.
