ST Unicom recently unveiled an innovative product — OLED designer wallpapers — from London-based luxury design brand Meystyle. The collection, Parallel Perception, is a stunning range of bespoke illuminated OLED wallpapers and fabrics conceptualized and created by designer sisters Maria and Ekaterina Yaschuk, which can be customized as per client’s requirements. Wallpaper by day and a source of ambient lighting at night, the world’s first collection of OLED wallpaper is a synthesis of technology and creative application, a testament to what design and ground-breaking innovation can achieve together. The wallpapers are created to give an art deco feel to the form of the OLEDs and their unusual pale green tone.
The lights can be switched on and off to quickly transform and add character to a space. The collection is a pastiche of many different styles united by a desire to be modern. All the textures that they print on are handmade for that bespoke opulent feel; and all the designs in the offing can be made with LED and OLED lights. Meystyle is the forefront of digital printing, adopting the latest technology to transfer design into wall covering substrate. They use both eco-solvent and HP latex inks which represent the very best options in terms of quality of prints and eco-friendliness. Innovative materials such as luminous natural silks, metallic meshes and soft cottons that add a touch of warmth and luxury to any environment can be seen in their collections.
