Hafele India: Foot Panel Plate

To minimise exposure of cross contamination, harmful microbes and infectious viruses, Hafele recently released its Foot Panel Plate. Mounted towards the bottom of the door, the foot plate offers the option of pulling the door open with one’s foot instead of a door handle.

This provides the user a hands-free, and germ-free way of exiting a room. The plates are made of stainless steel grade 305. It requires a minimum installation height of 5mm from the floor. It can be installed easily and is suitable for timber, steel, aluminium-framed doors, single swing doors and doors installed with deadbolt lock.
