WoodenStreet’s $500K plan for touch-free stores

To make furniture shopping experience safe for customers, WoodenStreet is in plans to spend USD 500K to change how its experience stores will function post the Coronavirus pandemic. The brand is mapping out a re-entry strategy including a touch-free store policy, virtual reality and 3D services, daily store-wide sanitisation, and social distancing policies.

Besides, the company is in plans to use its virtual reality module which allows walkthroughs of a customer’s home directly from their smartphone. The company has also planned similar measures to tackle supply-chain such as disinfection of manufacturing facilities, health check-ups, sanitisation facilities for delivery staff, touch-free delivery and installation, among others.
