India Craft Week to conduct digital preview amidst lockdown

The India Craft Week (ICW), initiated by the New Delhi-based Craft Village team, will be conducting its global digital edition for the first time amidst the lockdown. India Craft Week 2020 (Good Stories Untold —From your Home) is in partnership with the British Council, India.

This initiative aims to elevate craft and challenge the global lockdown in a creative move. The worldwide digital home preview strives towards One World, One Craft that transcends boundaries and fear. Scheduled from May 1 to May 3, 2020, the event is expected to provide creative seekers an opportunity to participate in a range of activities, learning new skills, acquiring new knowledge and insights, buying craft products and taking a journey into folk, tribal and cultural performances. The three-day event is also expected to help artisans, the craft community, and craft entrepreneurs to connect with potential consumers.
