Freedom Tree opens its store in Bengaluru

Freedom Tree has opened a brand new store in Bengaluru. Situated in the heart of Indiranagar, the store offers some of the best contemporary and abstract designs of modern India. Freedom Tree had partnered with Goa-based architects of Studio Matter to remarkably transform an old family home from the 60s into the store that we see today.

The original garage space has been transformed into an entrance of the store, which welcomes you into an epiphany of colours and contemporary Indian design. Spare lines, beautiful woodwork, slit windows that catch unexpected light, is a natural homecoming for Freedom Tree. The space is bright and contemporary and celebrates the history of its fast-changing neighbourhood and characterful home. One can find exquisite mugs, hand-painted dinnerware ranges and unique tabletop accessories, and signature fragrances under the ceramics and gifting sections. However, the textiles room featuring inspiring prints, bed linens, cushions and rugs, remains the highlight of the space. Besides, it also offers serious furniture purchases, hanging racks of rugs galore, and a profusion of lighting options such as pendants, table lamps and floor accents.
