Flipkart forays into offline space with experience centre in Bengaluru

In a step towards helping customers understand the vast selection of furniture offered by the leading e-commerce marketplace and increase awareness around the seamless buying and installation experience it offers, Flipkart has launched its first Furniture Experience Centre in Bengaluru.

Spread across nearly 1,800 sq ft, the experience centre showcases home furniture from nine brands such as Hometown, Evok by Hindware, The Jaipur Living, Perfect Homes, At Home by Nilkamal, Woodness, Recron by RIL, Wakefit and Springtek. That said, as part of the first phase of expansion, Flipkart Furniture will introduce two more experience centres in Bengaluru and will also look at expanding the experience centres into other metros in subsequent phases. Visitors at the experience centre can use their smartphone to scan the Flipkart Furniture icon which will then route them to the platform’s furniture page, allowing them to explore the product catalogue along with their various features. Also, to enhance customers’ overall viewing experience at these FurniSure Experience Centres through integration with Google Lens, it is working with Google.
