Touted to be India’s first state-of-the-art hub dedicated to corporate innovation, R&D and training, the e-novation Centre has been set up in Gurugram’s area Sector 75. Built by RSP Developers, the corporate innovation hub facilitates setting up of innovation labs, R&D labs, incubators, accelerators, centres of excellence, IT/ITeS units, and training centres.
Spread over 12 acres, the centre is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certified. With nearly 75 per cent of open space with extensive green cover, the campus has water recycling, waste management and renewable energy facilities, thus making it self-sufficient. The 1 million-square-foot infrastructure is spread over six block, of which, the first block is in use and operational, while second and third blocks are ready for occupation. The first block is occupied by the BMW Group which intends to set up India’s largest automobile training centre with a current capacity of nearly 14,000 trainees per annum. To adapt to various requirements, the centre has been constructed keeping in mind built-to-suit space, single floors, multiple floors, blocks, standalone buildings and residential facilities for ease of access.
