The interiors of Tokyo Tey, a contemporary sushi bar in Poznan, Poland, is inspired by the colours of sushi rolls. When it comes to sushi restaurants, most boast a Japanese-style interior that is on the more traditional side. However, this colourful sushi restaurant takes a different approach with a modern interior that is bright and airy. Designed by the firm Mode:lina architekci, the space was decorated with minimalist black and white walls peppered with colourful accents. These colours stand out due to the shop’s floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light. The focal point of the restaurant is the sculptural counter that boasts back-lit triangles and a display of vibrant-hued cups.
