Vertical limit

The thought of cutting down on ceiling height isn’t terribly appealing, but when executed sensibly, even the claustrophobic amongst us will be likely to concede. In this case, SAK Designs’ Ashish Kesurvala has built an attic in a corner of the library. Its minimalist stairway and railing allows interaction with the main area. Also, its location at a higher level grants occupants privacy and solitude whenever required. White window frames and glass create an illusion of space despite its stunted height.
